I would just love to be able to get the original on dvd. Virginia Madsen was awesome...and i think that since it was the beginning of the computer age that a remake could never be as good as this original was

The only time I have ever seen a remake that I liked more than the original was 20 years ago when I saw Tim Burton's Batman... If you even consider that a remake. I wouldn't raise my hopes too much for a worthwhile remake of anything. Remakes are what the film industry turns to during uninspired or troubled times to capitalize on a "built in" audience who liked the original movie. But maybe it will be good.
