MobLogic is hedging their bets. Lindsay Campbell wouldn't be able to hold back snarking the hell out of the Democrats.

Did he say the real reason he was going to DNC was 'I want to touch ya bum ah' ?

I'd like to see coverage of Iraq Veterans Against the War. There should be a lot of us out there getting the message out that the war in Iraq needs to end. Even though the Bush administration is reportedly laying the groundwork for a 2011 exit, and even though Obama's rhetoric would indicate he's supportive of a withdrawal, we're getting our experiences and opinions out in the public eye because we want people to hold their government accountable and not have a repeat of the post '06 election.

Demanding we withdraw now is ridiculous. As you say the groundwork is being laid for withdrawl so what is the point of protesting? Why risk the peace Iraq has now? Protesting on principle is fine but it won't make a iota of difference.

The point is that we have been on the verge of "victory" since I was in Iraq in 2005. Mission Accomplished was declared in 2003. Bush administration plans for withdrawal in an election year can easily be abandoned once the election is over and the new President takes office. Keeping the war in Iraq in the minds of voters will ensure that that does not transpire.

Iraq does not have peace. Attacks on American forces have gone down, but there is no peace in Iraq.
