The construction of a major highway around the city of Rio de Janeiro has been partly stopped due to the discovery of a small frog under threat of extinction. (Dec 15)

Super Frog,

stops rainforest destruction. Nice story, but I'm betting it'll be more of a nice short story. The little frog was able to get some consideration and in this day and age that's a pretty good accomplishment. As we continue the rain forest destruction, ther are species (plant & animal) that we'll never know. We've simply sent them to oblivon and in the process wrecked the Earths largest rain machines. the lungs of the world are the oceans, because 80% of the world´s oxygen is produced by the blue algae on the oceans. And the oceans are dying. And rich countries are to blame.
