@JimboGrinbo Yes they did... In season two there is a part where they mention. I watched the seasons about 6 times. And They mention it.. Also they mention it in season two when one of the "others" says "Why do we even need Jack? He isnt even on Jacobs list" which i dont get because he was? lol

@karimzk I kinda hear a resemblance between the bird shriek and Hurley. I can see where people might think he said his name. I'm pretty sure they just meant it to be a shrieking bird though.

I think the bird is Hurley's pet from when he was working with Dharma back in 1977...or was it 1973? I can't remember. Hurley taught the bird to say his name, and then years later through time travel the bird saw Hurley and remembered him.
