@lollipop24xxx that's acutally not true. Direct quote from the Barbara Walters interview: Barbara: "so its not just that you can't hit the high notes?" Julie: "no, I simply cannot, um, do a song for you".

@lollipop24xxx no, she actually can't completely sing anymore, she mentioned it in her interview with barbara walters. She can only "speak sing" now as she puts it.

i think i as about 4 or 5 when i first saw this, i was at my nanas when i first saw it, also it was the first time i saw mary poppins too which also has julie andrews in it;) but i still watch and love sound of music with all my heart! will always be a top ten on my film list<3

I watched the Sound Of Music for the first time when i was like 5 or 6. Now here I am at 12 still loving that movie. The Sound Of Music is my favorite movie of all time! I love Julie Andrews! She is such an insperation! Her voice was so beautiful! Such a shame she doesn't have that instrument anymore. ): Ithink for those who haven't see this film should watch it! It will definatley make you very touched. The music and the story is spectacular! ♥♥ (-:
