LLUÍS DANÉS/ Playwright, direction and stage design
Danés is an unconventional, visually stunning and prolific artist with over 19 years of professional experience as stage and film director, artistic director, stage designer and playwright.

He has created:

9 shows, amongst which highlight the circus and visual theatre performances Beds and Tranuites Circus, premièred at the National Theatre of Catalunya and El Café de Chinitas —a coproduction of Festival Castell de Peralada, Festival Internacional de Santander, Festival Quinzena Musical de San Sebastián and Festival de Música y Dansa de Granada— which was taken over by the Ballet Nacional de Espanya an is still on tour.

19 films, audiovisuals, clips and video projections of which the most important are the documentary feature film Llach. The permanent revolt premièred at the San Sebastian film festival; the film Eleanor's Dream with the collaboration of artists such as Pablo Carbonell, Ana Belén, el Gran Wyoming, Fernando Tejero and Fernando Guillén Cuervo; and Amnesty International campaign 60 Years Of Human Rights with the collaboration of Peter Gabriel, The Edge from U2 or Michael Stipe from REM.

13 Ceremonies, of which some of the most important are the 'Amnesty International Human Rights ceremony awards' ; 'National Culture Awards' from the Catalan Parliement and the ceremony of the 'Musical Awards' from SGAE.

26 stage designs, amongst which highlight the Joan Guinjoan's opera Gaudí performed for the first time at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the concert-show Neruda en el Corazón with the collaboration of 15 artists as for example Miguel Bosé or Joaquin Sabina.
