The easiest way to change a duvet cover is to place the duvet cover on the bed like its supposed to go and bring the top of the open part up half way on the bed and take each corner of the comforter and put them in one at a time then pull the duvet over the blanet. we did this at the hampton inn. it couldn't be simpler. takes less than a minute with practice.

Instead of 'shaking like crazy', hold the two corners in one hand and use your free hand to tug the cover down into place. Less chance of breaking something and takes less energy.
