RAF TYPHOONS ARRIVE AT GIOIA DEL COLLE TO ENFORCE LIBYAN NO-FLY ZONE

MOD PICTURES: Typhoon aircraft, pilots and ground crew arrived in Gioia Del Colle, Italy on Sunday 20 March 11 as part of Operation ELLAMY. Over the coming days they will fly missions to enforce the No-Fly Zone over Libya in support of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973. Pilots have been briefing in preparation for the missions this afternoon. Groundcrew loaded flares into the aircraft which are part of the aircrafts self defence system.

@G777GUN There are a few videos from the camera view showing the Brimstones hitting tanks in Libya.

A new flare dispenser installed? Did the Tiffy come under fire from Gadaffis missiles.
And great video, is it possibly to show inflight video footage of one of these missions. I bet a lot of people would like to see the Typhoon destroy a tank.
