John and a close friend/reporter Elliot Mintz engage in a short interview clip from the l970's.
John saying how indeed he was over the pain of the beatles break-up and ready to play with them again...then the wonderful audio/video feed to london from nyc of John performing his chart topping version of the hit... "Stand by me" from 1975 before he went into a more prive life, not of seclusion, but of a much deserved quality time w/his family, and a short break from the world stage for his family life for awhile, it was almost 5 years before he returned w/a new album "Double Fantasy" which was released in late 1980, only 2 & 1/2 weeks before he was murdered in cold blood, by a person whose name I will not utter out of respect for John Winston Ono Lennon's eternal memory...

It is all still so worth it to hear and see Lennon, so alive and vibrant in this video again, it is almost like we could touch him, as he touched our very souls while he lived.

  • @cathytreks naw...

  • @sheepsick he'd be pissed off to reply in american slang!

  • i believe he did influence a tremendous amount of peace.

  • i did not know that MIntz was a reporter.....I only knew him as that guy with refridgerator white teeth and an excessive tan

  • Elliot Mintz has no soul, he is a fake tanned cyborg with artificial organs. He is a complete bastard and Yoko's puppet - after we've gotten rid of Yoko at last, he will still be there to force her version of the story on people.

  • I don't think John would like the way the world is now.

  • He'd probably speak his mind publicly against their lies, just like he did right up until his demise. And they in their turn would try to get him removed in one way or another, just like they did then -and just like they have done with every person who had too much influence and took the freedom of speech-part too literally. They viewed him as 'dangerous' to them since he was such a public figure and so many would listen to his opinions.
