After all these years and being a huge fan and a pianist, how did I not know the piano collections existed? T.T... this is awesome.

@FF4eternity Haha! That's a pretty funny story. We all know he liked it! As overused as it is, it's kind of hard to not like To Zanarkand.
My former drum teacher is about 75 years old, and when I told him this was video game music, he was pretty skeptical as well. He did admit to liking it though, which is pretty awesome. I even got him to play Rock Band that day, and he actually admitted that it would be good for practicing technique! It's pretty amazing what video games can do these days XD

HOLY SHIT. IS THIS LIKE A LOVECHILD BETWEEN DEARLY BELOVED AND TCHAICHOVSKY?! I'M GONNA FAINT.

@oceanbluboi in the game itself, it's probably the orchestra version you're talking about. at the end of the game?

god. the KH series is one of my fav. and always will be. It really affected my childhood. kids these days have no IDEA what real games are. i showed my friend the OPENING THEME for KH1 and she made her mom go get her all the games that same day. so what do all the kids today know about games? :/

0:36 The composer of this must admire Chopin's Etude Op. 25, No 12.

I think that this brings out more emotion for Dearly Beloved. Especially in the runs. If you jsut htink about emotions, thoughts, feelings they just all add up to this. :)
I love playing this song in public and watching people's reactions when I tell them it's from a video game, haha. Actually, I suppose that's true for most of the VG music that I play.

@unusualcatperson Completely agree. My girlfriend who has never touched a video game in her life loves this piece. Tends to happen a lot with To Zanarkand these days as well, although it is a little overused I think.

@FF4eternity I had one particular occasion playing To Zanarkand in a Shopping Centre a man came up and asked me (He was around 40-45) the name of the piece and the composer, proudly Uematsu of course, and then he asked and who does this man compose for, and of course I said Squaresoft (at the time it was Soft since this is FFX). He then asked what exactly did he write this for, and my reply, Final Fantasy X. "Oh I never really liked it that much anyway" he said. xD!
