Increíble, buscando si había algún video de esta ópera, que fui a ver al Teatro Independencia, quedé sorprendida de que alguien hubiese subido exactamente e4sta puesta en escena. Es una pena que no hay más videos que la muestren; pero te pregunto... ¿Por casualidad, no tendrás filmada la escena de la muerte de Cèphale? Aun tengo grabada a fuego en la memoria cómo tiñó el escenario de rojo con los metros y metros de pañuelos que tenía dentro del vestido...

Sorry, I didn't know about those CDs; they were released in April 2008, it seems, and I got the broadcast recording a long time before that. Too bad they didn't perform it entirely, because it's a very good version. We may get more later, but perhaps not as good as this one; Raphaële Kennedy was particularly good. I've very much enjoyed the recent "Psyché" by O'Dette and Stubbs in Boston; I'd love it if they could do this one too.

I realize that it's not complete, but you actually could get it on CDs (I have a copy that I ordered from them). And there might be hope of a more complete recording, as they're staging it in Bayreuth this October.

Yes, it's an excellent recording (not CDs: it's a radio broadcast) but it's far from being complete; they made many cuts.

There is one, but its hard to get in the US. You could get it through ORF, which is an Austrian broadcasting company. That version was also conducted by Dolci, but the cast is different.

It's so good to actually hear this opera! I've read through the score, but to actually hear some of it is just fantastic! (Jacquet de la Guerre is one of my favourite composers) Let's hope someone will release a complete version on CD. =)
