It was obviously an accident. Watch again how Eduardo flicks the ball just before the tackle, It gives Taylor no chance to pull out. Taylor was full of remorse for this terrible accident afterwards, the Arsenal players even acknowledged this after the game, how there was no malice in the tackle whatsoever. Anyone who understands football can see this clearly from the video.
