While sitting back and thinking about my past 30 years in steel guitar, I reflected a lot on my friendship with Gary Hogue and Junior Knight. Both have been two of my greatest steel guitar inspirations. Gary is no long with us, but Junior is going on strong and playing great as always ... and continuing to inspire so many steel players, myself included. Humble as this song is, it's just a little way of saying "Thank You, Mr. Junior Knight, for being such an inspiration over the years." --- Jim

  • Thanks most kindly, everyone, for the favorable comments. They're greatly appreciated. :-)

  • Being from Green Bay, I sure like your Brett Favre jersey....Nice playing and that sound is beautiful. Keep up the great work. Bill

Thanks, Bill, it was a really fun tune to play. :-)

Although I'm not from Green Bay, I and my best friend are both full time die hard Packers fans ... after my wife and I divorced, I turned my formal living room into a Packers themed billiards room with walls painted in team colors, Fathead Green Bay "G" up on the wall and everything and it's always funny to see my other friends, mostly Cowboys fans, shield their eyes as they walk past the Green Bay room when they visit. LOL
