Sally Field has enjoyed a distinguished acting career spanning nearly half a century. American TV audiences of all ages fell in love with "The Flying Nun", ever since the adorable little Sister Bertrell from that convent in Puerto Rico flew onto the television screens. The love affair never ended. - Thank You, Sally Field, for entertaining us so very well, and for still making us feel like a kid when we catch reruns of "The Flying Nun" on some local channel somewhere in America or the world. WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!!

  • Hey that was the "Friends" fountain Carlos was standing in.

  • @jess4metoo I seriously doubt that. The Friends fountain was made of card board and built on a set. Footage from this clip includes California coast line, that's where the peculiarities end.

  • Actually yes, that is the "Friends" fountain. It was filmed on the old Screen Gems lot (now owned by Warner Bros.) where so many shows (Flying Nun, Jeannie, Bewitched, Blondie,Gidget, etc.) were also filmed. It is located in a park right across the street from the Jeannie house. It's still there today.

  • After seeing many interviews it's a shame Sally hated doing this show. It is part of pop culture and a great fun era in television. NOTHING is this innocent or fun on TV now.

  • I've been on that lot the park and fountain have been there for decades. At least since the 40s or 50s. It's a real fountain.

  • Great video thanks!

  • Wonder Woman-set in Washington DC- also jumped the Fountain . The building that was used for the Convent was also used in an episode of Wonder Woman set in Argentina. The book "The Fifteenth Pelican" on which the show is based describes the actual Convent as being the middle of Old San Juan not "high atop a cliff over looking Old San Juan". The book was based on something the author saw involving a Sister of the Daughters of Charity in Old San Juan.

  • The Friends fountain also shows up in episodes of "The Monkees", "The Partridge Family", and "Bewitched"--all filmed, as was "The Flying Nun", on the old Columbia/Screen Gems ranch now owned by Warner Bros.

  • @zerogullibility I had the opportunity to vist the Warner Bros. Ranch in 2008 and sat on the fountain. It exists and it is made of concrete. If you wish I an upload a video of me sitting on it.

  • sister bertrille flys over Malibu
