My friend had the same problem,the phone its quite new,expensive and with lots of problems,i advised him to buy iPhone,mine has three years with no problem at all!!

GO TO TMOBILE.COM AND DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR IT YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO DO IT OUT THE BOX...WHEN YOU GET IT TO WORK GOOGLE OMARKET AND REGISTER AND DOWNLOAD THE APP ITS A MARKET PLACE AND IT HAS NOTHING BUT FREE APPS INCLUDING WIFI SHARING SO YOU CAN USE YOUR PHONE AS A HOT SPOT AND ITS FREE. ALSO UNDER TOOLS CHECK OUT INTERNET SHARING AND THAT WORKS PERFECT THROGH A USB OR BLUETOOTH...

same problem, the best way is to re-flash the rom. head to htc website and download the latest rom for your phone and install it. that should fix it

The only way I found a fix was to install a custom rom. Check out Xda-Developers on how to install a custom rom. Your HD2 will be smoother and faster trust me. This seems to be a bug for all htc windows phones with sense ui. This used to happen on my HD2 and Sprint Touch Pro 2.

Its a Sense UI bug. It wont let you get to the homescreen
