99 Eclipse GSX- FIRE!

Shitty run, but the back-fire was kinda cool lol. Spun 1st too much and short shifted 2nd, ended up missing 4th, and hit the brakes before the traps, but still ran 12.4 @ 84mph lol. BTW, I backed up and went forward because my buddy told me I had some water on my tires from the water box and wanted to get some of it off. Still spun tho...

How in the Hell did you manage to get a 12.8 @ only 84mph?? did your car die at the end or something?? what elevation are you at?? It just seems crazy my friend had a 95 Talon TSI with a Big 16g Turbo he had about 380-400hp and he hit a 14.00 at 102mph but the elevation here is about 4300 I think...

@TommyKairaZZII yea, after i missed 4th, i just put it in neutral and coasted, i was already somewhat close to the traps. it was actually 12.4 @ 84. the car at that time was running consistent 11.70s. i live in florida so im about at sea-level.

@TommyKairaZZII If your friends car made 400hp at 4000+ft of elevation and went 14@102, its HIM thats wrong. not the car or the altitude.

A 100mph trap speed is a solid 13. My PB in my RX-7 when it was stock was a 13.6@101. Hope after one year since you made that comment he got better at driving

Try High 11s to mid 12s. 400whp is plenty enough to get a car to crack 11s with a good driver.
