Hey Max,
I got across your vid when I was searching for some "sociological theory" for my tomorrows exam,.. trying the other way by watching some youtube seminars :) ... not important anyway... My message is, that if you didnt state that, by your gestures and voice, I thought you are young man ... So dont worry! True, big part of our self (if not completely) is created in the interactions with others and I can understand your concerns to some point ... still reading goffman there is a lot more

I think that's what a lot of us really strive for. To feel like how we appear or vice versa. :)

Max your such a dude, haha. Seriously man, your mirror must be cracked cause you definitely present as male! - Gabe

love your voice !!
This video really speaks to me--I've always felt that I don't know what I look like. I'm always surprised when I look in a mirror because I ususally don't associate with the person that I see there. Even as a little kid I'd stare at my reflection, trying to figure out how that person could be me...I've gone through about a thousand different styles and personalities and the only one that struck me as recognizable has a flat chest. So, I guess I'm backwards from everyone else. Anyways great vid.

Yeah! Thats exactly it. Its weird when I hear cliche'd poetry about "the person who looks back at me isn't myself" and stuff and usually its not really related to this particular issue but I've always related to that, especially now that I'm on T and am in the limbo stage of things. I hope one day I'll look in the mirror and not only like what I see - but relate to it!

Max you do present as male. If you did not state in the first video I saw I would have thought you were male.

Thanks Gaven that means a lot. Its stil hard to see myself as presenting male but I'm glad to hear it!
Thanks for the support, :)

Hey Max, I'm a cis-gendered guy and you appear very masculine to me. I can't phantom how anyone could perceive you as a woman. Perhaps you developed an inability to perceive yourself as a means of distancing yourself from self doubts that might distract you from your desired path. Rest assured, you present as male.

Thanks for all of your support!
As for that, its so weird to hear that, because I'm not sure I see it. its just the strangest thing for me to have to look at myself and try to see how others see me. Or how to see myself at all. I'm glad I present well to some others, at least! lol
