Thank you for all your hard work on this fire stage!!! It was here in 2007 that I first got inspired to be a fire performer... This year (2009) it was a mission to get video footage of me on that stage... and I did it!!! I posted my first ever fire video on YouTube. Thank you for all your hard work, dedication and inspiration of new dreams for many. Hope to meet you in person next year.

no, not really. In the desert it is so isolated that the entire performance just assaults your senses. The smell, the heat, the constantly changing visual performance. It literally makes you want to climb up and join.

I understand what annoys you. Me and my husband go every year. We do not do drugs of any sort, or engage in any risky behavior. It does annoy me when I find someone who is passed out on my "porch" from drugs or alcohol. Last year I had to pock a couple because I thought they were dead.
