Is there a reson why ferrets come in pairs of at least two? I only have one ferret and everyone I know has at lease two. Is it just cuase there so cute n everyone want s'more then one or what??

I have to ferrets. I used to have 3 but Stella died. All I have now is my Champagne sable ferret Heather and my albino Ozzie. Stella was just a sable. I miss her. <:(
