Well it's running (my e bay purchase does work) but not very well. I had no instructions suppied with the brushless motor and ESC. So I haven't a clue what I'm doing. I was told the ESC had been upgraded to a "Pro Car" spec' so I e mailed Mtroniks and waited for a reply....

  • it could also be a thing with sensorless brushless called coging its when the esc dosen't get enough power but more likely the meshing ,or gearing to tall.

  • The problem was that I hadn't programed the esc correctly (or I had unprogramed it on my first switch up). Mtroniks came through with a downloaded instruction book from their website! So, sorted. Thanks.

  • it sounds like its meshed too close brushless' should run very free, gav

  • Thank's for that. Hopefully I've sorted it.

  • I think you need to balance your rear its all wiggly, and adjust your chain looks all loose <---sarcasm LOL

  • if you ever have a problem like that again, just google "mtronics genesis ride pdf". I buy a lot of parts second-hand and they rarely have any literature with them, this is how I solve that problem.

  • I would say all you need to do is find the instructions for esc and reprogram it to suit your radio gear, that should solve your issue
