HMC at Kauffman Center "I Sing Out"

The Heartland Men's Chorus performs at the brand new Kauffman Center of Performing Arts in Kansas City, Missouri. They are singing "I Sing Out", which was written for HMC. The area you see now is the Helzberg Hall, one of the two theaters. Sorry for the bright glare off the piano.

Wow, the chorus sounds SO good in the Helzberg acoustic, even with this relatively low quality recording! At the Folly I sit in the orchestra, under the balcony, and it kind of eats up some of the sound. At Helzberg you can hear all the dynamic variations, and when the chorus sings forte it really sounds rich and full! A bit reverberant, but they'll get that worked out as the hall can be tuned for different types of performers.
