She didn't "mostly" sing. She's always lipsynced. BUT in the beginning, there were a few songs that she could sing live, like this one. She was just too out of breath to even do it well. You can tell they mess with her voice so much in the studio. She can't match her own vocals here. The real register to her voice is much deeper and lower (star search/mmc) than how they have her singing now. The "baby voice" they call it. It's hard to sing live.
