RealGuitar is a sample-based virtual instrument with an innovative approach to guitar sound modeling and guitar part performing on keyboard.
Operates as standalone module and as virtual instrument software plug-in in all major Windows hosts like Logic, Pro Tools, Cubase and other VST hosts, SONAR. Works in Mac OSX as VSTi/AU.

  • Very good for what it is, but you can still kinda tell. :\

  • Fricken sweet VST!

  • Who would thought this is just a computer program?

  • I challenge anyone to recognize this as a fake guitar in a mix with other instruments and an adequate volume level..no effing way.. now solo in your face like in this demo..that's another story but it's still pretty awsome

  • @gwugluud actually you can use guitars , wind instruments , violins and many more, you just need the midi interface...

  • So you have to be a keyboardist in order to use any PC music studio hardware...

  • amazing like delta blues stuff dobro stuff

  • @cyberhmoob You are right, and IMO, there is no need for chipmunking. Sampling and more importantly.....memory technology is such that, it should be able to sample every single note on a guitar, from lowest to highest, multiple times. Also, there should be some "randomization" feature, so there is some variation when the same note is played multiple times.velocities (same for drums, if it's not already a feature on some program). I admit though, digital music technology is forever expanding.

  • @cyberhmoob electri6ity is in a different league I would say, and congratulations on your choice :) It is a wonderful program. I suppose this vst depends on how much you can do on your keyboard manually? I find bending quite achievable, but I haven't used 'pushed it to its limits' I guess.

  • @cyberhmoob I suggest you spend more time with you software and with a more positive attitude. I have it for just two weeks now and it sounds amazing. This is definitely possible. Also if you look at the keyboard playing here, they're being rather too meticulous for a scam don't you think?
