  • Does anyone know where to buy picaridin and permethrin in Canada?

  • Thanks, Steve. I really enjoy your videos. With all of the terrible diseases that mosquitoes transmit, repelling them isn't just a matter of comfort. Per your videos, I bought some Permethrin and Picaradin. While the bugs are thick this time of year, I'm able to hike deep into the wilderness... string up my hammock and take a nap, and return home without a single bite. Thanks for giving the outdoors back to me.

  • I was in a BlueRidgePkwy parking area when I crawled under a car 2 replace a fuel filter & I was attacked mercilessly by a swarm of chiggers. I only had this happen 2 me once b4& I remember the nasty results. I wiped methanol where welts were appearing & let it evaporate. The chiggers died & the pinhead welts progressed no further. I have no idea if it was dehydration that killed them or the poisoning action of the meths. Don't want another experience 2 try something safer like isopropyl.

  • I read an article based on some universities studies, in the paper, several years ago that claimed eating bananas in the mosquito season actually attracts them. Something about a chemical in the banana that's released through your skin. I've put this in to practice ever since and get much less bites on me than before without using replellents. I live near a huge estuary where there are lots of mosquitos.

  • Great info in this video. We tried garlic and it does not work!
