Our own VIRTUAL TOUR of "All That Glitters" - San Diego Natural History Museum

Amazing exhibit of gems and minerals at the San Diego Natural History Museum. The exhibit, "All That Glitters" showcases precious specimens and jewelry from all over the world with a special focus on discoveries local to San Diego. It's educational and varied. If you're like us and get excited about the natural, uncut specimens, you won't be dissappointed. Our kids brought notebooks and spent some time drawing shapes and writing down information that 'wowed' them. The San Diego Natural History Museum is located near downtown in Balboa Park. The exhibit runs until April 2012.
