On DVD February 17th! From the author of Fight Club... A wickedly colorful dark comedy about mothers and sons, sexual compulsion, and the sordid underbelly of colonial theme parks. Victor Mancini (Sam Rockwell), a sex-addicted med-school dropout, who keeps his increasingly deranged mother, Ida (Anjelica Huston), in an expensive private medical hospital by working days as a historical reenactor at a colonial-era theme park.

  • This was a GREAT movie, everyone should lay off with comparing it to the book. The book is incredible but had far too much detail to ever be able to match up to it with a movie.

You cant remake it word for word, it's just the rules & the way things work, the exact same thing happened with Fight Club. Clark Gregg did an awesome job of making this and Rockwell did an awesome job of playing Victor.

    the end.

  • Sam Rockwell is so bloody gorgeous.

Despite what the critics say, I may give 'Choke' a go because he's a fantastic actor :)

  • Man, Agent Coulson and Justin Hammer never get along.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA I love Sam!

  • The book was so much better.

  • This film is fucking hilarious, but it's kind of average in my opinion. It becomes pretty muddled toward the end. I will say that Sam Rockwell is such a great fucking actor! The scene where he was demanding that his mother be placed down stairs and he gets choked up was acted out so well. If you guys liked him in this, you HAVE to check out "Moon." He's also incredible in that film.

  • @kirks9258 i agree and disagree with you. i liked both book and movie. the movie had some good scenes that weren't in the book. but i do think the movie should have been longer :(

  • lame.

  • the book is always better than the movie, no matter what the case.

  • amazing movie. i was shocked- thought they didn't make these anymore. funny as hell and profound.

    good, good movie.

rockwell was wonderful and houston sublime.
