aw you're so mean! she is only trying to help!
-
@BalletTapJazz exactly, it is way to harsh in here. She's just trying to help out beginners like me =)

Connie your an awesome teacher! Your one of my favorites on You Tube
-
@TheGymlovers1 it's not she doesn't know how to close it s just she's overweight so her legs can't touch. Anyway Expert Village should be forbidden to post anything about ballet.
-
@BalletTapJazz perhaps not but that's why we aren't posting educational ballet videos on youtube.

THAT IS NOT GRAND BATTEMENT EN CLOCHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET YOUR TITLES RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! And where is your posture dear? And FLOOR PRESSURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God go and take some ballet lessons your self.
-
@BalletTapJazz sure, ok. she's not that bad for someone who dances for pure recreation. and yes, I could do better.

Honestly, why does everyone who's ever popped on a pointe shoe think they're fit to correct the whole goddamn world. She's not THAT bad. She's a woman of a tad older age. She's not going to be perfect. I'd imagine a lot of you giving your high & holy corrections couldn't do much better.

@andywarholisbetter Honeyyyy, Turnout is supposed to come from the hip. Go ask your professional ballet studio instructors. (:
1. you need a barre because you obviously can't hold yourself in a proper position without one
2. you don't know how to close in fifth
3. you have no flexibility
4. your arm is awful--you look like you're holding a purse
5. point your toes more
6. keep your hips and shoulders square
7. don't sink into your working leg
i really can't believe people pay money to take classes from you...

If you cannot demonstrate muscle work and positions for ballet clearly, please do not post a video - it's a serious sport that can cause serious injury if not done correctly and in the safety of a studio.
Your effort is commendable, however.
