@popper504 from day one? really? Seing the rates of unemployment, illiteracy and homelessness plumet, that's what happened in the begginings of the Soviet Union- I wouldn't call that backwards. That would be very progressive. The USSR may have had its downfalls in its time, but when it was first founded it was one of the best things that had happened to its people in a very long time
