In 1973, Rush realced their debute single, Cant Fight It/Not Fade Away. Under Moon Records, Lifeson, Lee, and Rutsy's single had trubble with sales throughout the year, but, when their debute album came out, the single got some radio play, but stoped in 1975.
Cant Fight It- Lifeson/Jones
Not Fade Away- Buddy Holly
I'm 52. I remember trying to get into the GasWorks to see the band. 'Course the bouncer wouldn't let me through. "But I don't want to drink, I just want to see the band!" "Sorry kid, come back when you're 18"

like andresperling, im 50 and a Rush fan since my 13's. Captivated since the first album (although being introduced to them with "Anthem" played almost bursting out the loudspeakers)
