@09smitel: That is not it. That is not it at all. I know about Catholicism (correct spelling, btw) in Japan. I was just shocked to see a nun hear a confession & give absolution. To my knowledge, that is only supposed to be given by a priest. I have no problems w/ the story or the characters & I truly thank you for responding to my comment! No harm no foul! {{{{^_^}}}}

@robynsegg Although I myself am Protestant, and admittedly don't know as much about Catholocism as I could, I must point out that all of the various denominations of Christianity make up a total of one percent of Japan's population. As such, their society has not been exposed to Christianity as much as other parts of the world have; so in Japan, Christianity is seen more as an exotic religion, which is why they probably inserted a Catholic nun into the storyline.
