This is a video I made in my spare time for remembrance day. To remember the fallen and those still fighting wars.

This was a lot harder to make then I thought as windows movie maker would forget what part of the song would be going when it showed certain images so I had to keep watching this from the beginning every time I added something and wanted to see if it would match with the music. I've now heard "The Green Fields Of France" way more then I thought I ever would.

  • This song is about French British and Irish soldiers killed at the Somme in 1916 .... your video is filled with pictures of Americans in World war 2 1940s ?

  • I know there are a lot of pictures of Americans they are easy to get pictures of as they have been involved conflict almost every decade. I also do show a lot of soliders from WWI. I also show german soilders. That why in the video discription "To remember the fallen and those still fighting wars." because I wasn't going to just show WWI images. War is hell no matter which war you are talking about. Also I have about the same amount of WWI pictures then all the american ones put together

  • good vid, pity about the crap rendition of a great song.

  • I've heard a few renditions of this song and the orignal one as well. I do like this version which is why I used it.

  • Shohmyoh said the video is for Remembrance Day...to honor ALL those who have fallen, fought and are still fighting wars...the video isn't meant for just WW1. A beautiful rendition of this sad haunting song. We can all agree on this I hope...and love the music if not the topic. Peace

  • Thank you for uploading this great tribute to those who secured our chance at freedom, and gave us a future.

  • And the soldiers was the one who made this country make peace!

  • Wow why the heck did you Dislike?

Dude this song is from Remembrance day.

The fight started at 1919,November 11,11:00.

  • LISTEN TO KHANARTIST- LEST WE FORGET. THIS GUY MADE AN AWESOME SONG FOR THE VETS!

  • I see a lot of reactions about the fact that the Americans did not fight in WW I. Which is true and this song orinally came out of the fallen soldiers of WW I.

Nevertheless it´s a beautiful song. It doesn´t matter which war nor wich time. This is a song that can relate to wars in the past, present and future.

Honor the fallen and fighting soldiers :)

  • @metalgearsolidfan what about the ANZACS??? LEST WE FORGET.

  • @dinukaperera2809 Remind the families of those fallen soldiers buried in Arlington, and Jefferson Barracks, Mo. and other Nat;l cemeteries, that they 'hardly fought' in WW1. The ancestors of those fallen soldiers will be happy to hear the good news.
