Combat still sucks. It got a small buff in the big rogue buff patch, but nothing like what it needed. Main Gauche did not get the "roughly quadruple" buff that was mentioned at Blizzcon. It was given a proc chance boost from 10%+1.25% to 16%+2%, which helps very little.

Aldriana told me specifically that rupture has a 1% benefit over Evis only. I know, this isn't a big deal, but you make it sound like it's totally worthless and just not worth it at all. That is just not true. Also, do not forget you are attacking a dummy with no armor. Rupture negates all armor, Evis negates none (sunder removes before the actuality of the ability). Glyph of SnD is also awful for Combat, because Combat's SnD duration is so long, it's a complete waste of a glyph to use it.

@Vyrzek Uh, I went with RvS not SnD...watch more closely. What do you mean a dummy with no armor? I assure you the dummy does have armor. Try attacking a dummy with a warrior, then using Colossus Smash. You'll see a huge difference in damage.

yea this could use an update, lol, mastery is DEFINATLEY not the worst in the game...in fact it falls in second for secondaries after haste...lol

@Krimghor those are both firelands bosses in which combat beats assassination by a very wide margin.

Blade flurry is a very strong ability when glyphed, combat rogues can do absurd amounts of damage if toggled properly.

Yeah rets are terrible right now.

@Krimghor Ohh ok thanks, I don't really know what your talking about but the Firelands part. Suprisingly, Ret pally's recieved the lowest DPS, so they are now buffing them..

Same for heroic ryolith.

BF is OP. I play both specs, combat is the clear winner for firelands.

@PtzlLogic Yeah, maybe Sub rogues, Combat rogues are useless in PvP and are beaten by Assassin rogues in PvE, which makes them almost useless in about everything BUT questing..

@Autokillz1 You surely have never done 27k dps, using envenom as combat rogue is a dps loss, using killing spree glyph is a dps loss, using rupture isnt necessarly a dps boost.
