@BatDude27 look up a guide on google. but basically, you can use a ethernet cable running from your xbox to your router, and another running from pc to router. simples.

I kinda dleated a game on my modded xbox how do I get it back?

Wel latlest you need to svae the ebrom to xbox hd which was not chown in this tutorial but with the installer there was option to backup ebrom. Then you need to copy from ftp the whole filesystem to pc and then use spesial program to make fromat XBOX harddrive and add to there the eeprom file. Then switch the new hds to to xbox.

You need to make hotswap anyway, to be able to add bigger HD like 120-500gb.

Note sure what you mean:
1) Game saves are transferred in the video beginning using the Action Replay game save cartridge.
2) XBMC is FTP'd in the second video I just added.

did i forget to mention that action reply for xbox is impossible to find!and wire modding is hard and requires additional equitment

Google for "xbmc hot swap", I'll do a video showing a full softmode using that technique. But it will be awhile down the road, need to buy another XBOX.
You could also buy/make a XBOX/USB cable and use a compatible flash drive. Lots of tutorials for that one.

is their an advantage when using hotswap versus a flash drive?and can i just use regular scissor to cut up the wire and do the rest by hand?

You can do that if you want, but you have a ruin a controller to get the cable.
If you don't have a bad cable I'd search for a pre-made one to buy.
