@damedavid because he needed the green card

What I didn't understand about Angie and David was, why get married if it's an open marriage, and why get jealous about David with groupies?
I've seen some generous, nice words from her post-divorce about him, but the majority of interviews as being rather vicious and still holding a grudge.

@repelghosts Queen of Rock, technically.

No the King of Rock as you know it sonny...
-
David Bowie - King of Glam

What is the song at 1:52?

@songcycle yes I suppose, I not saying I was disatisfied by the final product, because being a massive fan of bowie, I overlook almost everything and just stare doey-eyed at the screen.
I'm still waiting for a dramatilized bio on bowie, like a bbc one with reconstructions.

really unnecessary stuff. it's the best documentary i've ever seen on him as far as thoroughness goes and i've seen plenty. usually they don't talk about iggy, they don't talk about "all the young dudes". This documentary covers every milestone/disaster because it's a general look at all that (including The Hype!) Usually docs about him cover one album or two, and even those barely mention albums like Low. And the people chosen for commentary are aces.

i think that david and angie where more friends than lovers

" 'The lunatics where running Wild" ^_^
when I hear that "they wondered if David Bowie was just another shooting star that had burned out before his time.." I can't help thinking ; Not to worry :)
