@jagkarizma get the toshiba man trust me. Hp products ahve become so shit. They use such inferior products and its feels all cheap and rubbish. I bought a toshiba and i loved it. Feels like much more superior quality build and parts

Hello, I am having a hard time deciding between this HP or the Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q898 Laptop. This is my first laptop & all my information comes from reading websites. Do you have an opinion on the better of the two? Thx ;). BTW. I mostly do photo stuff & hopefully video editing etc. My son will want to game.

@DMSTechReview Thanks for your help ...i did went on to hp's site n then to its support and driver downloads but " turbo boost driver " wasnt dere .. i check for the "solve a problem " section as well but to no avail ... i dont seem to get its giving an error message "This device cannot start. (Code 10) " .. please help me with it if its okay with you.

The tounch panel on these is a disaster. I had to pop off the touch panel bezel and disconnect the ribbon cable from the keyboard, my wifi was going haywire.
Many others have the same problems as you do. Poor quality control.

@tps70124 I had sent it back to be repaired. It got better, no doubt, but I still have the wifi shutting on and off on occasion.

nice review ... well have you come cross its turbo boost driver ... i mean it isnt working from the begining when i bought it . it gives some error message .. need help to fix this problem .. waiting for ur reply .. thnx

@fightingfalcon11 Go to HP's site, go to support and downloads and download the driver from there. If you need further help I'll assist you.
