General McChrystal Visits German Troops in Northern Afghanistan

General Stanley McChrystal, the Commander of ISAF and U.S. forces in Afghanistan, visited the province of Kunduz on July 29, where he met with German troops and the local Governor and acknowledged a growing insurgency in the region. He also emphasized the importance of protecting the Afghans, warning "If you fall prey to letting the Taliban cause us to harm the Afghan people, they win."

It is a shame that the Bundeswehr soldiers in Afghanistan do not get any support of the German government. Last year, a dozen of german soldiers were in a combat situation for 9 HOURS without any support or help!!!

The Germans got the best tank in the World (Leopard), but not in AFGHANISTAN!!!!
