Ben (David Reyes) is a writer trying to find his Muse and wants to leave his dreary day job to become a full time writer. He obsesses over his co-worker Gail (Wonder Russell) she's the object of Ben's musings but is interested in more celestial matters.
Matt (James Tobin) is a recently laid off computer engineer who has to take a job that is beneath him to make ends meet.
"data rapture" explores the dreamscape and how external stimuli can effect us as we dream, it also explores how we want so badly to connect with our surroundings and those in them but sometimes we miss...

Utilizing actors from the tv show untethered that we were given on Friday March 19th - we wrote, shot, edited and turned in our movie 48hrs later on Sunday night. We were judged on that cut for the awards.
We were allowed to make an alternate cut to this original submission to be screened at the Awards ceremony. This is our Alternate Cut - it's only slightly longer but with additional work on the color correction and sound (sound familiar?) Big Thanks to the Cast & Crew, to the sponsor Adobe and to Glass Forest Entertainment.
