My darling husband is not handy at all and our toilet fill valve has become loud, I had a plumber in to look and wants to chare $75.00 and I would have to buy the part. I therefore after watching the video have decided that I will give this a try. I will be back to post and tell you how easy it was.

The title of this video is misleading. You're replacing a fill valve, not fixing it.

You need to read the instructions. There's a line on the valve that should be 1 inch higher than the top of the overflow tube.
