Well, I can only say I do not know or understand We all tried it before in various variations. Were we all fooled by a stupid failure to observe? What is really controlling this circuit? Guess this is the way of research. Well, we are almost back the original Imhotep Radiant Oscillator. I am going to sit in the corner of my room?? NO! There are more hidden secrets when we go back to the previous version of this circuit. But that I will only present much later.

  • Does the single transistor get much HOTTER?

  • Hi Aromas,

I wanted to give you a different perspective.

I am an accomplished musician with over 30 years of experience on stage playing with rock bands.

I never learned to read music.

I am completely self taught, and I play by ear.

My band was very good, we sold over 5000 copies of our CD's in the city where I live.

My point is this, I did not have to go to school to learn to play music, and I did'nt need to understand the notes to enjoy the melody.

    Have fun!

    Eddie

  • Whoops, in the links above there are spaces, just remove the spaces and they will work.

To go back to the music analogy, you are trying to play esoteric experimental jazz without first picking up a guitar and learning how to play the basic chords, D, C, G.

You may be shocked when I tell you this: In every clip that you have posted everything is perfectly explainable with 'conventional' electric circuit theory. I am not trying to be a 'bad guy' or a 'disinformation agent', just the truth.

  • There is a direct parallel between myself and boats and yourself and electronics.

    Would you like a kick-start?

This link is fun with simple demonstrations similar to what you are doing:

The following two links are the real thing, not fun, not easy, but absolutely real:

    /view_play_list?p=9F74AFA03AA06A11

    /view_play_list?p=C2CEECFD938FD494

If you were to regroup and try to learn this material over a few weeks, you will be in a much better position.

  • Another example, what do I know about boats and building boats? Not very much, I am a layperson when it comes to boats. How thick does the hull have to be? How do you make the ribs? What kind of wood lamination is best to use? What coatings do you need to protect the wood from sea water? How do you do celestial navigation? How do you seal the hull to the deck? I have only the vaguest ideas on how to do these things. Conclusion: I am not going to build my own boat myself.

  • Aromaz, I give you credit for doing some soul searching and questioning what is going on with your experiments.

Take the example of classical music. To truly understand classical music and appreciate what you are listening to with a deeper understanding, you have to learn about the history of classical music, understand rhythm concepts (like a compound duple-meter) and understand scales, instruments, and a myriad of other things. When you have the background knowledge, you perceive batter.
