May 1st 2011

After months of talking about it, friends in Pittsburgh and Brooklyn organized and played a baseball game against each other. The game took place after Pittsburgh's annual May Day parade.

The game stayed even for 6 innings before Pittsburgh broke away with 8 runs in the bottom of the 6th, a deficit Brooklyn could not overcome. Pittsburgh went on to win the game 22 to 15.

Unfortunately, with only 1 hour of footage of this glorious 10+ hour day, many all stars that played are not seen here on film but they are certainly not forgotten!

That goes for all the great bands that played the after party too!

Enjoy- Jen

  • I stumbled upon this randomly while trying to find footage of Doc Ellis pitching a no-hitter on LSD. This was -- dare I say -- better. GO Brooklyn
