My Zune Cracked. Battery Expansion.

I was going to bed and i looked at my zune to play music. I heard a pop and looked at my screen. It was cracked on the inside. I will admit i thought it was my fault somehow.
I started to do research and found that many people were having this same problem. I have had my 30gig Zune for almost 2 years and i have to say i have loved her, but now i am dissapointed because after i called Zune they told me it was not covered and reffered me to live.com to find a 3rd party repair service. So basically they left me with a factory defected zune and google to find myself a repair.

My screen didn't crack, but I had lost my zune for like 3 years. I finally found it, redownloaded the software, and when I plugged it in to charge it, the entire zune just popped open! Something definitely expanded the casing to make it pop open and now it won't go back on. The battery makes sense...

This just happened to my Zune. If I replace it, it will be the fourth time I've done so in the past year. Zune is shit.

i got a 80gb zune i have a problem similar to ur but i only get a black screen with the battery charge screen..

yep, same thing happend to my 30gb, so went and bought a 80gb had it a year and compleatly crashed, and needs a new hard drive.. any help from microsoft for eithe of these probs?? not on yr nelly, should have bought an ipod on the first place :(

If you buy a new battery for the zune and replace it with the one inside it will fix it. It only costs 43 $. Thats what I did
