1. First of all delete Windows Xp sp3

2. Make sure your realtek drivers are installed.

3. Go to http://www.jeedo.net/howto/how-to-install-kb888111xpsp2-exe-to-fix-the-micros... and follow instructions.

4. That's it.

  • NO NEED to uninstall SP3!!!! A fix has been out for quite a while, enabling realtek onboard audio for SP3. Just download KB835221.exe... Has all the drivers necessary, then install latest realtek audio drivers.

  • @MrDemented2009 Thanks great info

  • Can I reinstall SP3 again after that (and Realtek HD will still working)?

  • @InDa666House I don't know for sure I know when SP3 got installed on my computer it shut down realtek
