I remember this video from so many years ago... had to come back and watch it again! :)
-
@DraconusFear the idea of my first comment was actualy that the BR originated form the DMR, jsut that it had stages that it went through, and came upto the final defign
-
@robertchrismedd The DMR has the service ID M392, while the BR is BR55HB (XBR55 for Contact Harvest and BR55 for Halo 2).
And the Pillar of Autumn was equipped with Marines, hence the Battle Rifles on board during Halo: The Flood (And Jenkin's in-game model).
-
@DraconusFear on the side of the BR there is a 3 way switch, the options are safe, fire, auto.
auto, may mean semi auto (because full auto would be stupid with the ammo count), and the battle rifle was origianaly semi auto.
plus, the DMR was used right before halo 1, but on the pillar of autumn, there was 100s of BR55-M45 Battle rifles aboard the ship (they were blown up in an attack).
-
@robertchrismedd They are different weapons - it's just the DMR was replaced by the BR in all branches but the Army, which is what you see in Reach
-
If the gauss could fire at that rate now.. <3
-
i wish they would have left this mission oh well guess they'll have to put it in halo 4.
-
the dislike is bigger than justin biebers penis
-
so, the DMR and the BR are the same weaposn, but the newer version is semi-automatic
-
This couldn't be possible in the Xbox. It's another example of hype
Thank you Bungie for bringing one of the best PFS game into our world.
