NASA officials claim that the objects in the tether video footage are ice particles close to the camera passing in front of the distant ... all » "overexposed" tether. Researchers have noticed how NASA routinely brings out this explanation for anomalous video footage acquired during shuttle missions of "ice particles" close to cameras which are focused on infinity, an unlikely result of which would be said footage.

Tether experiment explained: On the first trial run of an experimental tether, to be used for towing and placing satellites in orbit, there was a disaster. As the 12-mile long tether was pulled behind the space shuttle, it was bombarded by charged particles from the upper atmosphere and cosmic rays from the sun. It was made of a strong material composed of synthetic fibers, but that synthetic material accumulated a critical charge which eventually snapped the tether as it towed a 100 million dollar satellite packed with sensitive technology.

Shuttle bay cameras monitored helplessly as the tether and its multi-million dollar payload drifted away. One camera, with a human operator, zoomed in on the tether, which was glowing brightly. Many objects were floating around in the shot. Some seemed to emit a flash in a regular synchronized pattern, while other large objects, like the one shown above, appeared to pass behind the 12-mile long tether, which would suggest a diameter in excess of three miles -- depending on how far behind the tether the object was.

  • I haven't seen commented upon, and I've only noticed now. But at 2:12, when the large oval object appears, you can actually hear a woman (or it sounds like a woman) at Houston shout, "What is that?" Put your earphones in, crank up the volume and go to about 2:10, then at 2:12 you can hear it.

  • wow what are all these things..thatlong thing looks like a nail?thanks for sharing

  • @webbum What did the OLN pragram say about this video?

  • is the tether carbon nano tubes?

  • @webbum Oh something on tv disproved it. Oh ok so that's true! If its a program of tv it makes it true! :D Kay, I'll shut up now, and my ideas of the truth will be at rest now. The tv that is run by the media, which is paid off by the government says that this isn't what it seems said so everybody!! Yep! Believe it!! Ahh I love the feeling of oppression in the morning! :)

  • OLN program on tv disproved this film. Due to the photo lense, light, and distortion.

Religion is rarely (if ever) right, and remains frozen in ancient times by virtue of books/scriptures which cannot be verified or tested. Religion cannot refine itself or ever admit it was wrong.

Science is frequently right, and sometimes admits it was wrong. It constantly refines itself based on verifiable, methodical testing.

That's not a tough choice to make for a rational person is it?

  • @MEGALOUD #

Yes it's food for thought aint it ;)

  • @IzzyIsou Yep that's crazy! That's more proof to me they are out there!

  • @wfd1234567

Yeah, and religion is never right.

Last time i checked, snakes dont talk.

  • @MoronAntidote Dont hate on religion brobro. Besides, science isnt always right :)

  • @MoronAntidote Loved the one on conspiracy theorists lol!
