Some of the highlights of our hike at Lost Valley State Park near the Buffalo National River near Ponca, Arkansas. The trumpeter swans were on a pond nearby, a recent re-introduction by the game and fish people. The elk are another native animal that has been re-introduced into the area and seems to be thriving. I counted 43 elk in the field, though the ones near the treeline don't show up well in the video.
