@TrueIronMaidenFan with respect you are very young and have a little maturing to do,when you do you will realise that what you are saying is very meaningless.
-
@TrueIronMaidenFan I would say Chuck Berry before Jimi Hendrix. Oh and if you really want to get technical, the first power metal vocalist was Janis Joplin; she didn't sing metal, but she definitely influenced it. Yes Jimi influenced metal but he wasn't a true metal artist, same with Led Zeppelin I don't care what you read it's just elements of metal. The first metal bands were: Spooky Tooth, Deep Purple, Nazareth, Black Sabbath, Uriah Heep, Atomic Rooster, Coven, Lucifer's Friend, Apex...ETC...
-
@hermygagala your giving me shit cause my fav time period in music was the 80's? i still love a lot of the 70's music. I mean you got Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy. and most importently of all JUDAS PRIEST!! in some ways Jimi Hendrix was the founder of metal
-
@TrueIronMaidenFan I think you need to listen to a bit more Nazareth before you say that the band isn't good. They did some more basic guitar riffs just like every other band, this isn't there only song. In fact this is their first album!!! They have experimented with different sounds a ton. I will try and find you the techno versions of Morning Dew if at all possible!!!
-
@TrueIronMaidenFan Black Sabbath is the only older band you listen to for god sake!!! How can you think you know everything about music when all you listen to is metal and 80's onward for the most part; you don't even know the history of it. I bet you haven't even heard of Spooky Tooth, the band that basically created metal; they were highly influential to Black Sabbath and don't even try to argue this, cause you have never even heard of them!!! And what about The Who song "The Ox" 1965!!!
-
@hermygagala and also i think Dan has a REALY good voice, i just would ahve liked to see him in a better band THATS ALL! and ignorant? im not stupid i know what that means. Ignorant is just a point of view
-
@hermygagala haha dude im not even going to take that comment seriously! yes i know what Elf is it was DIO first band full of short guys. Danzig has a incredibly powerful voice with a deep chest voice barritone vocal range. so dont say he aint that good. Iron Maiden arent that good??! lol Number of the Beast, Peice of Mind, Powerslave, Seventh son of a seventh Son, Somewhere in time, Brave NEw World, ECT) they beacame one of the worlds biggest bands with almost no radio support
-
@MrOctagon20 This kid is seriously the most ignorant unknowledgeable person on music, I have ever met. He even tried to tell me he isn't ignorant!!! He doesn't even know what ignorant means for god sake. I even told him what it meant and he still argues. I know you know what it means but just for the heck of it, I will say it again. It is not being able to accept things the way they are, or atleast be open to other people opinions. Now to Trueironmaiden fan grow up a little and quit talking shit
-
@TrueIronMaidenFan Dude of course I have heard of them all you fucking listen to is Iron Maiden and hate to break it to you but Danzig isn't that great either.I bet you haven't even heard of Elf.You'll probably look it up right now and try tell me that you know everything about it. Singing is my passion I am singer you don't study singing like I do. I have taken post secondary on it and I can guarantee you know nothing compared to me. You ignorant fuck!!! Iron Maiden isn't as great as you think
-
@MrOctagon20 its true, Black Sabbath have a million amazing songs and albums wheres Naz barely has one, Tony Iommi is obviouly a 1000 times the guitarist
-
@hermygagala um...ever herd of a singer named DIO!! or Tony Martin! or Ian Gillan or Ray GIllan? probably not cause all you listen to is Nazereth! i know a 100 times more about singign then you, i study it, its one of my of my passions
-
@hermygagala i have been listening to rock music some 36 yrs now and know a multitude of different bands and nazareth have allways struck me as being one of the most diverse talented bands out there, fans of better known bands when they discover nazareth are in denial of how good nazareth are,and try and discredit them they can't handle the fact that nazareth have done music on a parr or better.
-
@TrueIronMaidenFan impossible!
-
@MrOctagon20 You're exactly right thank god there's someone here who can talk some sense!!!
-
@guillotinedeath Ozzy does NOT have power metal vocals!!!
-
@TrueIronMaidenFan Fuck you asshole, I am getting really tired of your bullshit. So fuck off. You know nothing about vocals!!!! Learn a little something, then talk your fucking bullshit. You are so fucking ignorant about everything about music. You're not always right for fuck sake, get over yourself!!! Ozzy is not a technical vocalist by any means and I would think even you, a person who talks a lot of shit should fucking know that!!!
-
@MrOctagon20 Black Sabbath had the talent as well, a million times more then in this band
-
@TrueIronMaidenFan Black sabbath had the publicity and that is the only difference.
-
@orgasmtron Black Sabbath are litterely a 1000 times better then this band in every way! and that is obvious
-
only thing that made sabbath more heavy is the lyrics and ozzy perfect voice for metal
-
back in da' day-yy,back in da' day-yyyy....great song to jam out to - kinda' mesmerizing - and,of course, "Hollis Brown" should always be played at 45 rpm and "11"....doobs,shrooms,peace,bo
oga-boogah-hey.... -
@movement26 Manny was indeed very underated,he can play any style of guitar with great ease.
-
Love that mid-song guitar solo.........Manny was so underated.
-
@GeneralRaptor888 I appreciate most classic rock music... everything from Three Dog Night to Black Sabbath. I like everything Sabbath has done, but I do consider HEAVEN AND HELL not only as one of their best, but as one of THE best albums ever recorded.
-
@GeneralRaptor888 And Nazareth helped dramatically to create metal.
They defitely challenge black sabbath about having the most distinct metal sound

as for being born 67 and gone through all differerent challangers i still consider Nazareth as the heaviest band ever, the feeling you get while litening is that of something profound sincere ...and heavy.
the voice is from another dimention.
This was /is music that don´t need an image.
I hope Nazareth get some huge recognition either day .
