so adorable. Are leos by the sea expensive? I can't seem to locate any prices or price ranges from them.

@iantodaro While prices for Leonbergers can be high, they shouldn't be the deciding factor on which breeder to go with. I researched breeders and came to Leos By The Sea because you can tell the true love for the dogs is there...Mary has five of her own Leos and they are such a part of her family. But as I am a college student and understand the financial burden that can arise from owning such a giant breed, I can tell you that females are typically $1600, males $1800. Good luck!!! :)

Nice song and video of your beautiful puppy. We have an older Golden Retriever and wonder what we'll have next. We live in Kentucky, summers can be very, very hot here - wonder if Leos can handle this weather? We keep our Golden wet all summer and he stays in the shade when we're outside - rest of the time is in the AC - we get all 4 seasons here, including rough winters.

Thank you :) and as far as Leos handling the hot summers, they do seem like they're overheating all the time, but watch out if there's water nearby; they'll go and swim by themselves! And they don't have the oily undercoat a retriever has, so they drip dry quite quickly without much of a smell. So we don't mind her swimming too much, she's about 100 lbs now and is just a big pup. They do love winter though, seems to be their favorite season.
