abishekam is holy bath, to the Lord Muruga or Karthikeya. son of shiva. Lord of wars. abishekam is done with the help of sacred ash, sandal paste, milk, honey,fruit paste, curd, flower petals,tender coconut water,turmeric paste,etc.
