So there is this girl. We have been friends for some time, but she sometimes flirts with me.

One day she is acting flirty the next she is acting friendly. She does this with many guys. Does she like me or is it just for her to get guys attention?

@watch057 Chances are she's just doing that for attention. If a person thinks they can get away with it, they will. If you like her I think the best thing to do is when she acts flirty, tell her "Stop it. You're not fooling anyone. I know you're into me but it'll never work." and then follow up with a smile. Saying something like that will make her see that you're not gonna let her treat you like the other guys. You're different.

@Userwastaken That's when you flirt with them. The whole point was to have them be intrigued by you and want to chase you a bit. Now that you have their attention, you can lead the situation.

@Userwastaken You don't have to go to the extreme and make them think you hate them but, people are always interested in what they can't have. If they sense that you're brushing them off, it'll cause them to find out why.

@ImpactAssault That is a very good idea, now that I think about it. But what if the person is already one of your really good friends? Wouldn't it make it weird to hear that you're hated by one of your friends on their end?

@ImpactAssault Probably the very selective group. The way my mind works goes a little bit like this. I see a group of people that I consider liking, and I live my life and pick out one by one (as I find things I don't like about them) until I find the one that is perfect. This person may or may not be hard to get, it just depends.

@Kailey338 Here's a good tip that's a little underhanded but might work. Tell one of his friends that you like him and tell another one of his friends that you can't stand him. That way, when he gets the mixed messages from his friends, he's bound to be interested in what you really feel about him.
