Is it just me, or was Emile way better than James Franco in Milk? I mean, I don't get why Franco got so much attention when his role was barely memorable beyond his pretty face.
The thing about Franco's role that the movie couldn't have done without was that his performance really rounded out the story and gave it some emotional substance, while Emile Hirsch's performance was something of a completely different nature. I really don't think they can be compared because their roles had two completely different functions.

The music in the background was amazing as well, found myself getting lost in it, missed some of the interview :)
